UNSA EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

I am honored to introduce the Uganda National Students Association (UNSA), a vibrant and inclusive organization that represents the voices and interests of students in Uganda. As the Executive Secretary, I am proud to lead an association that is dedicated to empowering students and promoting excellence in Education. UNSA is provided for in the Education Act subsection 30 part iv.

At UNSA, we believe that students are the future leaders and change-makers of our world. Therefore, we are committed to providing a platform for students to share their ideas, experiences, and perspectives. We aim to foster a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and social responsibility among students in Uganda.

Our association is guided by the values of student-centeredness, integrity, transparency, and community engagement. We work tirelessly to promote student welfare, advocate for students’ rights, and facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among students, educators, and stakeholders.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to be the leading and most Vibrant Students’ Association in the world. At UNSA, we envision a future where students are empowered to reach their full potential, become active citizens, and contribute to the development of Uganda and the world.

Our Mission

Our mission is to prepare and produce disciplined, patriotic and self-resilient citizens for National Development. By our mission, we are able to foster a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and social responsibility among students in Uganda. We aim to achieve this by:

– Providing a platform for students to share their ideas, experiences, and perspectives

– Facilitating collaboration and knowledge-sharing among students, educators, and stakeholders

– Promoting student leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship

– Advocating for students’ rights and interests at local and global levels

Our Objectives

– To guide and support all students of Uganda in the promotion of their academic pursuits and achievement of successful careers.

– To foster mobilization of students towards matters pertaining to their welfare and National Development.

– To participate and seek for preservation of Fundamental Human Rights as stipulated in the constitution of the republic of Uganda.1915.

– To promote unity and maintain cordial and maintain cordial relationship among students and organizations with similar objectives.

– To Establish and maintain solidarity with other International Students’ Organizations

– To promote National and international peace

Our Activities

– Organizing conferences, seminars, Debates and workshops on topics relevant to students

– Providing training and capacity-building programs for student leaders

– Facilitating networking and mentorship opportunities for students

– Advocating for policy changes and reforms that benefit students

UNSA is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, inclusivity, and social responsibility, innovation among students in Uganda and the global world.
